Abbie’s Bio
Abbie Lynn studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, (RSAMD), Glasgow where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music Performance degree with honours.

She was also selected to study at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, New York, as part of an exchange programme where she studied with well known mezzo-soprano Kathryn Cowdrick. On returning to Glasgow she studied with Jane Irwin (RSAMD,) who regularly performs internationally.
After graduating, Abbie worked outside Glasgow, as a ‘Vocal Music Instructor’ which involved inspiring young groups and teaching them how to use their voices. Abbie has also worked as a for several different mother and baby music groups.
She has given regular recitals to a variety of different audiences ranging from old age homes to charity concerts and weddings.
Her repertoire includes a diverse range of genres including classical, opera, music theatre, jazz and contemporary.
Recent solo recitals and performances have included concerts and recitals for such charities as the St.Andrew’s Charitable Trust, St.Annes Hospice and Magen Dovid Adom as well as being a regular guest artist at variety of different Glasgow clubs; Jewish Care, the Aviv Club, Cosgrove Care. Abbie has recently given a recital for the Association of Jewish Refugees.
Abbie her sister Kerry and her late sister Victoria used to perform as a trio and gave recitals for Heathlands Village, World Jewish Relief, and the Manchester Charitable Trust.
Abbie has worked with a variety of talented pianists on these occasions and was privileged to have worked with Marilyn Blank.
Since marrying and moving back to Manchester, Abbie taught in schools for Bury Music Service, and now teaches privately alongside performing.
Abbie is heavly involved in the amateur dramatic society PACE and her roles have included ; director, musical director, accompanist and composer and is currently composing for PACE’s forthcoming production.
